Accident averted in Sirsa: Uncontrolled car falls into canal, villagers rescue

A car fell into the Nohar Feeder Canal near Makhosrani village in the Nathusari Chopta area of ​​Sirsa district. Six people, including three women and two children, were reportedly inside the car. Fortunately, villagers rescued everyone. After being pulled from the water, the occupants were taken by ambulance to the Nathusari Chopta Community Health Center.

According to reports, residents of Hinjarawa village in Fatehabad district were traveling in a car from Kairawali to Nathusari Chopta. Near Makhosrani, the car lost balance and fell into the Nohar Feeder Canal.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sidhu was passing by on his bike. Seeing the wailing women and children, he began calling for help. Villagers Ramesh Kumar Bhakar, Pramod Kasaniya, and Pradeep Kasaniya arrived at the scene and, with courage, rescued the three women, two children, and the driver.

The car was carrying 58-year-old Makhan Singh, son of Ganga Ram, Hinjrava Khurd, Fatehabad; four-year-old Avek Kumar, son of Bhajan Lal; two-year-old Aryan, son of Bhajan Lal; 60-year-old Taro, wife of Sardarna Ram; 62-year-old Jito Bai, wife of Makhan Lal; and 24-year-old Sunita, wife of Bhajan Lal. All were rescued safely from the water.

Villagers reported the incident around 7:30 a.m. They say six lives were saved thanks to Rajesh Sidhu. They alerted 112 and, with the help of an ambulance, all were admitted to the community health center, where their condition remains stable.
