Uncontrolled HRTC Bus falls into a field; several people injured

Following an accident in Sirmaur district, another bus accident has occurred in Himachal Pradesh. An HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) bus traveling from Gobharta to Sarkaghat in Mandi district met with an accident near Hawani on Saturday morning at around 8:00 AM.

It is reported that approximately 15 passengers were on board at the time of the accident. The driver sustained serious injuries, while some passengers also suffered minor injuries. Most of the passengers are reported to be safe.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. The bus rolled off the road and fell into a field. Upon receiving information about the accident, local residents immediately launched rescue and relief operations.

All the injured were rescued from the bus and immediately taken to a nearby hospital in private vehicles. DSP Sarkaghat Sanjeev Gautam said that the police are investigating the cause of the accident. The injured have been taken to Sarkaghat for treatment.
