Three Unidentified Motorcycle-Borne Men Open Fire on Punjab Roadways Bus; One Injured

Chandigarh: Panic gripped the Ferozepur-Fazilka road this evening when three unidentified motorcycle-borne youths opened fire on a Punjab Roadways bus travelling from Ferozepur to Ganganagar. The assailants first fired towards the driver’s side near Karian Pehlawan village and then overtook the bus, firing more rounds at the front portion. Around 25 to 30 passengers were onboard at the time.

Conductor Amandeep Singh sustained minor injuries after bullet pellets hit his leg.

Meanwhile Special nakas have been set up across the area, and a massive manhunt is underway to trace the assailants.
