Union Minister Bittu Accuses Congress of Plotting Attack During Farm Agitation

Ludhiana: During an event held in Ludhiana, Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu made serious allegations against Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress Party. Speaking to the media, Bittu claimed that an attempt was made to vitiate the atmosphere by having him beaten up during the farmers’ protest.

He said that he would file a complaint with the Delhi Police in this matter and demand an investigation into the role of Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress Party, and Yogendra Yadav. According to Bittu, he was forcibly sent to meet Yogendra Yadav during the protest six years ago.

While sitting on a protest, the phone rang

Bittu said that he and Amritsar MP Aujla sat on a protest in Delhi for a year on the instructions of the Congress party in protest against the agricultural laws. During this time, Priyanka Gandhi kept calling him and asking him to meet Yogendra Yadav.

He said he initially refused to meet, but things changed later.

Mukul Wasnik forced him to go

According to Bittu, when he refused to go, Congress leader Mukul Wasnik forcibly took him into a car and took him to Yogendra Yadav. Wasnik left there and returned.

He claimed that when he arrived, Yogendra Yadav was addressing approximately 500 people in a hall, whom he described as Khalistan supporters.

Allegation of attempted attack

Bittu alleged that as soon as he arrived, Yogendra Yadav left the venue and the mob tried to attack him. He said that the situation had escalated to the point where Congress leader Kulbir Singh Zira’s car was vandalized.

Calling it a well-planned conspiracy, he said the plan was to harm the MP and disrupt the atmosphere.

“I was saved by the grace of my mother and Waheguru”

An emotional Bittu said that he was able to return safely that day due to the grace of his mother and Waheguru. He also said that Mukul Wasnik later apologized to him, saying he was unaware of the situation there.

Raja Warring’s counter attack

Meanwhile, Congress state president and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, reacting to X, called Bittu’s statement “childish.” He said that dragging Priyanka Gandhi into a six-year-old incident is not appropriate.

Warding alleged that Bittu is making such statements to please his masters and that he should refrain from such rhetoric.
