New Delhi/Chandigarh: Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu has written to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, urging his personal intervention to expedite several pending railway projects in the state.

In his letter, Bittu said that the delays on the part of the Punjab government were affecting the timely execution of key railway infrastructure projects and appealed to the Chief Minister to ensure faster clearances and coordination.

‘Punjab’s Progress Depends on Better Railway Connectivity’

Emphasising the importance of modern rail infrastructure, Bittu said, “Punjab’s development and better railway connectivity are our top priorities.” He stressed that improving rail connectivity is crucial for the state’s economic growth, trade, industry and passenger convenience.

Urges State Government to Remove Delays

The Union Minister said that several important railway projects are awaiting progress due to delays from the state government’s side. He requested Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to personally intervene so that pending issues can be resolved at the earliest and work on these projects can move forward without further obstacles.

Bittu expressed hope that the Punjab government would extend full cooperation to ensure the timely completion of the railway projects in the larger interest of the people of the state.
