    Unnao Road Accident: Three Dead, Including a Ward Boy, in Road Crash

    On Saturday evening, four people, including a married couple, sustained serious injuries following a collision between two motorcycles on the Lucknow-Bangarmau road. Of the injured, three individuals, including a ward boy posted at the local Community Health Centre (CHC), died during treatment.

    The wife of the deceased ward boy is currently undergoing treatment at the Lucknow Trauma Centre. Rahisuddin (47), a resident of Pikhi village in the Safipur Kotwali area, was employed as a ward boy at the Ruri Sadikpur CHC.

    On Sunday, he traveled to Pikhi village on his motorcycle with his wife, Sadia (45), to attend a funeral. In the evening, they were returning to the CHC. The collision occurred near the Sharda Canal’s Chaudharykhera Bridge, situated on the border between the Asiwan and Fatehpur Chaurasi police station jurisdictions along the Lucknow-Bangarmau road.

    In addition to the couple, the two riders on the other motorcycle, Shivmohan (30), son of Vijayprakash Dwivedi and a resident of Balamau (Hardoi), and his cousin, Shobhit Shukla (20), son of the late Kaushal and a resident of Basokha village (Sadar Kotwali area), also sustained injuries.

    Among the injured, Rahisuddin and his wife, Sadia, were initially admitted to the Miyaganj CHC. After receiving primary treatment there, and given the critical nature of their condition, both were referred to the Lucknow Trauma Centre.

    Meanwhile, Shivmohan Dwivedi and Shobhit were admitted to the Safipur CHC. After administering primary treatment, doctors referred them to the District Hospital due to the severity of their injuries. On Sunday night, Ward Boy Rahisuddin passed away while undergoing treatment at the Lucknow Trauma Centre.

    Post-mortems Conducted on All Three Bodies
    Shobhit Shukla and Shivmohan also succumbed to their injuries at the District Hospital. Rahisuddin, a resident of Pikhi, is survived by two sons and three daughters, all of whom are unmarried. Guddi Shukla, the mother of the deceased Shobhit, stated that Shobhit’s native village was Gauriakala, located within the jurisdiction of the Behtamujawar police station.

    He had been residing at his maternal grandparents’ home and working at the Nehru Bagh Company in Magarwara. Since Sunday was a holiday, he had gone to Gauriakala with his cousin, Shivmohan. Both Shobhit and Shivmohan were unmarried. SHO SN Tripathi stated that post-mortems are being conducted on all three bodies.
