Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has issued an important notice regarding maintenance and configuration work in its billing system. All major online electricity services across the state will remain unavailable for 16 hours, likely causing inconvenience to consumers.
Services that will be affected
According to UPPCL, work on the RMS billing system will impact the online consumer portal and the consumer app. During this period, services such as electricity bill payment, smart meter recharge, new bill generation, and load enhancement will not be accessible.
Duration of disruption
The outage will continue from 10 pm on April 3, 2026, to 2 pm on April 4, 2026. Services across all discoms in Uttar Pradesh will be affected. Consumers will not be able to pay bills online or via the app, and prepaid meter users may face power disruption if their balance runs out during this time.

UPPCL has urged consumers to clear pending bills and recharge their smart meters in advance to avoid inconvenience. The maintenance is aimed at improving system efficiency and ensuring smoother services in the future.
