UP Sizzles at 47.4°C, Heatwave Grips 34 Districts Amid Rain Alert

Today is the third day of Nautha in UP. Two shades of weather are visible. In Purvanchal, due to the effects of storms and rain, the heat is slightly less on Wednesday morning. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for storms and rain in 16 districts on Wednesday. At the same time, a heatwave (loo) warning has been issued for 35 districts. Among these, a red alert has been declared for six cities – Agra, Jalaun, Jhansi, Banda, Hamirpur, and Mahoba. This means very hot winds will blow here.

Meteorologists say that the weather will change during Nautha in the state. There are signs of relief from the heat and the loo. Because a new western disturbance will become active from tomorrow, May 28. It may bring storms, thunder-lightning, and rain. Hail may also occur in some places. The temperature may drop by 6-8°C.
