USA-Returned Social Worker Dr. Suhani Doda Joins AAP in Presence of Manish Sisodia, Harpal Cheema

Abohar (Punjab): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday expanded its base in Punjab with the induction of noted social worker and USA-returned Dr. Suhani Doda from Abohar into the party.

Dr. Doda joined the AAP in the presence of Punjab Affairs In-charge Manish Sisodia and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who formally welcomed her into the party. The leaders said her inclusion would further strengthen the party’s outreach and public service initiatives in the state.

Welcoming Dr. Doda, Sisodia and Cheema said the AAP family continues to grow as more people from different sections of society are expressing confidence in the party’s vision and governance. They added that individuals committed to social service would play an important role in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.

Speaking after joining the party, Dr. Suhani Doda expressed her gratitude to the AAP leadership for reposing faith in her. She said she was inspired by the party’s people-centric policies and development agenda and pledged to work dedicatedly for the welfare of the people of Punjab, particularly in the Abohar region.

The induction is being seen as part of the AAP’s continued efforts to broaden its support base in Punjab by bringing prominent professionals and social workers into the party fold.
