Jalandhar: To avail of expeditious and hassle-free passport application processing service, Regional Passport Officer Abhishek Sharma IFS has advised all the applicants either to share their supporting documents from the Digi Locker account to Passport Seva system while filling out their passport application form or keep their documents handy by uploading them in Digi locker app.
He said that “ it would not only preclude any avoidable objections and escalations of file to back office for further referring the documents to concerned departments for verification but also check any possible forgery of documents “.
He also said that the Indicative list of documents that can be accessed in the Digi Locker app includes Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, PAN, Birth Certificate, Ration Card ,Class 10th Passing Certificate, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill.
He said that Regional Passport Office Jalandhar remains committed to provide hassle-free services to the applicants and addressing their grievances.
