Uttar Pradesh: Police conduct flag march in sensitive areas of Sambhal

The police administration in Sambhal is on high alert in view of the festivals of Rang Ekadashi, Holi, and Ramzan. To prevent any untoward incident and maintain peace and order during the festivals, RAF, police, and PAC personnel conducted a foot march in the city. Security preparations were reviewed during the march.

Patrol begins from Sarai Police Outpost
On Wednesday evening, Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Vishnoi initiated the foot march from the Chaudhary Sarai Police Outpost. The march passed through various sensitive and main routes of the city, including Manokamna Road, Jama Masjid, Post Office, Main Market, Kotwali, Sarafa Bazaar, Nakhasa Square, Khaggu Sarai, and Balle ki Pulia. A campaign was launched in the Bholeeshwar Police Outpost area. During the march, the SP inspected the possible route of the Rang Ekadashi procession and closely reviewed the security arrangements in place.

Tightened Security Arrangements
Reviewing the security arrangements, SP Krishna Kumar Vishnoi directed the concerned officials to ensure foolproof security. He stated that maintaining law and order during the festivals is a top priority. During this time, he directly interacted with the people and assured them that the administration is fully committed to their safety.

Anti-social elements restricted
The Superintendent of Police stated that as a precautionary measure, more than 500 such individuals have been restricted across the district. There is a possibility of them causing unrest. He stated that the district is being continuously patrolled.
