Uttarakhand Governor Visits Kedarnath, Praises Pilgrim Facilities and Development Work

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) arrived at the sacred Kedarnath shrine on Tuesday. He offered prayers at the Baba Kedarnath temple and prayed for the prosperity of the country and the state.

Governor Arrives by Special Helicopter, Participates in Rudrabhishek

The Governor arrived in Kedarnath in the morning by a special helicopter, where he was welcomed by temple committee officials and the administrative team. He then visited the sanctum sanctorum to have darshan of Lord Shiva and participated in the Rudrabhishek ritual.

The Governor said that visiting Kedarnath Dham brings a profound sense of spiritual energy. He added that the dedication of the government, administration, and local people to the smooth conduct of the Chardham Yatra and the facilities provided to pilgrims is commendable.

Praise for PM Modi’s Reconstruction Efforts

Outside the temple, the Governor interacted with priests and pilgrims and inquired about the ongoing development work in the area. He praised the progress of the reconstruction work in Kedarnath and said that, thanks to the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kedarnath is now becoming an inspiration for the country and the world in a new form.
