Truck Falls into 984 Feet Deep Gorge in Uttarakhand, 8 Dead

Uttarakhnad: In Tehri Garhwal, a pickup truck carrying 10 people plunged into a 984-foot gorge, resulting in the deaths of 8 individuals; this has been confirmed by Tehri District Magistrate Nitika Khandelwal.

All those who lost their lives in the accident were returning from Haridwar after attending the funeral rites of a relative. On their return journey, the vehicle suddenly went out of control and plummeted into a 984-foot-deep gorge. Two people sustained critical injuries in the accident.
