201 Trainees Graduate; Majority Move into Infra Jobs

The institute has trained 201 students across two pilot batches, out of which 113 candidates have already joined major infrastructure projects with stipend-based employment. Trainees are working on high-value national projects including the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor, Ahmedabad Metro, the Panipat Refinery project and a solar power plant in Khambhalia.

Officials said the training model ensures direct industry linkage, allowing students to transition from classroom learning to live project sites.

Hands-On Training Model Across 9.3-Acre Campus

Spread over a 9.3-acre campus, the institute offers practical, industry-simulated training in more than 20 trades, including construction, welding, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and solar technology.

Training programs are designed for 45, 60, and 90-day durations, depending on industry requirements, with a strong focus on real-world skill development.

Skill India-Aligned Program with Free Training and Placement Support

The Vadnagar institute operates under a public-private collaboration aligned with the Skill India Mission. Trainees receive free education, accommodation, and boarding, while many are placed in structured apprenticeship programs under NAPS and PMIS schemes.

Officials said the initiative not only supports employment but also builds long-term career pathways, including supervisory roles and future advancement opportunities within the infrastructure sector.
