Veteran Producer R.B. Chaudhary Killed in Rajasthan Road Mishap

Jaipur: Renowned South Indian film producer and businessman R.B. Chaudhary died in a road accident on National Highway 162 near Jhuntha village in Rajasthan’s Pali district. He was 76 years old.

Chaudhary, originally from Risaniya village near Sojat Road and currently living in Chennai, was returning from a family wedding in Lilamba village. The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

Car lost control due to cattle on the road
According to police, a sudden cattle on the road caused the driver to lose control and the car collided with a roadside retaining wall.

The impact was so severe that Chaudhary died on the spot.

Driver injured, referred to Jodhpur
Car driver Gautam Sirvi was seriously injured. He was given first aid and then referred to Jodhpur for further treatment.

Raipur police arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident. Assistant Sub-Inspector Manohar Lal Khokha supervised relief operations and transported the injured to the hospital.

Funeral to be held in Chennai, Gehlot expresses condolences
The deceased’s body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem. According to police, the body has been sent to Chennai for cremation.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed deep grief over the accident.

He wrote on Twitter, “The news of the death of South Indian film producer R.B. Choudhary in a road accident in Beawar is extremely saddening. I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. I also wish the injured driver a speedy recovery.”
