    Vijay Sworn In as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister; Nine Ministers Also Take Oath

    Chennai: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Chief and actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay has become the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He took the oath of office in Tamil.  Along with Vijay, nine other ministers are also taking the oath. Their names include N. Anand, Adhav Arjun, Dr. K.G. Arunraj, K.A. Sengottaiyan, P. Venkataramanan, R. Nirmalkumar, Rajmohan, Dr. T.K. Prabhu, and Selvi S. Keerthana.

    All of these individuals are MLAs belonging to Vijay’s own party, the TVK. As of now, no MLA from the alliance partners has been included in Vijay’s first cabinet.

    Vijay Honours Governor Arlekar

    After taking oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, TVK chief C. Joseph Vijay felicitated Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
