Newly Appointed LG Vinai Kumar Saxena Arrives in Leh; Swearing-in Ceremony Today

Vinai Kumar Saxena, the newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, received a warm welcome upon his arrival on Thursday at the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport in Leh. LG Saxena is scheduled to take the oath of office on Friday.

Senior officials, politicians, representatives of religious organizations, and local residents greeted him at the airport.

Saxena will be sworn in as the fourth Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh on March 13 at 12:30 PM at the Arya Nagarjuna Auditorium of the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies in Leh.

The oath of office will be administered to him by Justice Arun Palli, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

He will succeed Kavinder Gupta, who recently assumed the office of the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
