Resign from Lok Sabha if you have no faith in EC: BJP to Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: After Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi made a serious allegation of Vote theft against BJP and election Commission, Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday said that Congress MP should resign from LoK Sabha if he has no faith in EC.

Quoting BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia a national news agency reported “Rahul Gandhi, if you don’t trust the election commission and the observations made by the Supreme Court, do one thing: first, you resign from the Lok Sabha membership.”

He also demanded Congress MPs Priyanka Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi’s resignation from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha respectively, adding that they were also raising questions on the poll body.

According to the reports Bhatia said that LoP had made baseless allegations and had refused to sign declaration forms after being asked for the same. 

Pertinent to mention, the Leader of Opposition has raised several vote theft cases in a presser including fake addresses of voters, no addresses, fake names and 80 people living in single rooms.
