Voting Continues Across Four Municipal Councils

Jalandhar:  Today there are four municipal councils in the district—Gurdaspur, Dinanagar, Kadiyan and Hushiarpur. Voting continues for Shamchurasi Vidhan Sabha elections. All preparations for the elections have been completed by the Punjab State Election Commission. These elections are being conducted through EVM machines instead of ballot paper. Voting started at 8 am and will continue till 4 pm. After the voting is over, the results will be counted and declared today itself.
