Wamiqa Gabbi says It feels surreal joining Karan Johar’s production

Mumbai: Actress Vamika Gabbi, who will soon be seen in a film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, described the experience as extremely special and incredible. She said it felt like the fulfillment of her childhood dream.

Childhood Dream Fulfilled

Vamika expressed her happiness, saying that she grew up watching Dharma Productions films, and now working with the same banner is an emotional experience for her.

She said, “It feels incredible. I grew up watching these films. To be a part of that world today is pure joy for me.”

She further added that this connection isn’t limited to just one production house, but is rooted in her love for cinema.

“Films by Dharma, YRF, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were part of my childhood. These films shaped my perspective on cinema,” Vamika said.

Long line-up of upcoming films

On the work front, Vamika was recently seen in Bhool Chook Maaf, directed by Karan Sharma. The film also starred Rajkummar Rao and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.

She will soon be seen in the much-talked-about sequel Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film will release in theaters on March 4, 2026, coinciding with Holi.

Several major projects including Bhoot Bangla

Vamika also has projects like Bhoot Bangla, Kuku Ki Kundali, Tiki Taka, and Goodachari 2 in the pipeline.
Bhoot Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in pivotal roles. The film will release in theaters on April 2, 2026.
