Wang Yi Meets with UAE President’s Special Envoy for China Affairs

Abu Dhabi: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on December 13 met Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Special Envoy of the UAE President for China Affairs, in Abu Dhabi, underscoring China’s commitment to deepening its comprehensive strategic partnership with the UAE.

China a Reliable Long-Term Strategic Partner: Wang Yi

During the meeting, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said China remains a reliable and trustworthy long-term strategic partner of the UAE. He noted that the strong friendship and mutual trust between Chinese President Xi Jinping and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan serve as the most important political foundation for the steady growth of bilateral ties.

Xi–MBZ Ties Key to Bilateral Relations

Wang said the development of China-UAE relations reflects China’s consistent adherence to the principle of equality among nations and its firm support for developing countries. He added that China’s growth contributes positively to global stability, world peace and the collective rise of the Global South.

Pledge to Deepen Cooperation

Highlighting the current international situation, Wang said China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with the UAE, strengthen strategic mutual trust, and implement the key consensus reached by the two heads of state. He stressed that China aims to expand cooperation across various sectors and elevate the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership to a higher level.
