Beirut: Amidst Israeli attacks and ground operations in Lebanon, the Israeli army carried out air strikes near Beirut airport overnight on Saturday night. Some attacks occurred on the roads leading to the airport and some on the airport wall. On the other hand, differences between France and Israel have increased over the fighting in Lebanon.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that even if France does not support us, we can still win this war. President Macron should be ashamed of his statement. French President Emmanuel Macron had said on October 5 that Israel should be banned from sending weapons to fight in Gaza. After this, the problem should be solved.
After Netanyahu’s statement, Macron’s office clarified the situation. He said that France is a true friend of Israel. If Iran or its supporters attack, France will always stand with Israel.
