“I am confident that Warring will support the Congress and me”: New Punjab Congress President Pargat Singh

Chandigarh: Newly appointed Punjab Congress President Pargat Singh has said that he is confident that former state Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring will continue to support the Congress party and him. He said that all leaders must work together to strengthen the party.

Pargat Singh confident of Warring’s support

Pargat Singh said that Raja Warring is an important leader of the party and he hopes he will stand with the Congress. He said that all party leaders have their own roles and the organization will be strengthened through collective efforts in the future.

New responsibility given after Raja Warring’s resignation

Following Raja Warring’s resignation as Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president, the Congress has handed over the command of the state unit to Pargat Singh. Warring has been the Punjab Congress President since 2022.

Pargat Singh’s statement comes as the Punjab Congress is preparing for the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections. The party faces the challenge of strengthening the organization and building better coordination among its leaders.
