According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will increase by five degrees in most of the cities of Punjab in the coming four days. At present the temperature in most of the cities of Punjab is being recorded 4 degrees lower than normal. It will gradually move towards normal in the coming days.
After snowfall in the mountains and rain in the plains for the last three days, the minimum temperature of Punjab has fallen by 3.9 degrees below normal. The western disturbance has now moved from Punjab to Central India.
According to the Meteorological Department, now the conditions will remain normal in Punjab and the temperature will also become normal in a day or two.
According to the data of the Meteorological Department, due to snowfall in the mountains and cold winds blowing from the upper areas, the minimum temperature of Punjab has dropped by 3.2 degrees in a day.
Along with this, the minimum temperature has been recorded 3.9 degrees lower than normal.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 8.8 mm rainfall has been recorded in Chandigarh, 7 mm in Mohali, 1.5 mm in Firozpur, 1.7 mm in Pathankot and 0.5 mm in Ludhiana.
