Weather to remain dry for next three days; Rain predicted from Oct 4

The monsoon has departed from Punjab and Chandigarh. However, the weather suddenly changed on Tuesday night. Several areas experienced brief rain, bringing some relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry until October 3rd.

Light to moderate rainfall is expected at some locations on October 4th and at many locations across the state on October 5th and 6th. The state’s average maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius has dropped by 0.4 degrees, bringing it closer to normal. Bathinda recorded the highest temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius.

This will cause a change in the weather

Meteorological experts say that a pressure area in the Arabian Sea is likely to cause a change in winds. Consequently, the weather is expected to remain variable and partly cloudy at times. However, no significant changes are expected.
