Weather to remain dry in Punjab for next seven days; Bathinda remains hottest

The weather in Punjab and Chandigarh is expected to remain dry for the next seven days. There will be no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures during this period. Rain is also not expected. However, the average maximum temperature in the state has decreased by 0.1 degrees in the last 24 hours, bringing it closer to normal.

Bathinda was the hottest place during this period, with a maximum temperature of 34.9 degrees Celsius. Although the daytime temperature remains warm, a slight chill is beginning to be felt in the mornings and evenings.

Cold will gradually increase

It is believed that the cold may increase after Diwali. Meanwhile, two western disturbances will become active in the coming days. This will likely bring rain in Punjab, while snowfall is possible in Himachal.

Amritsar recorded a maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees, 1.7 degrees below normal. Ludhiana recorded a temperature of 30.8 degrees Celsius, Patiala 32.6 degrees Celsius, Gurdaspur 30.0 degrees Celsius, Ferozepur 32.3 degrees Celsius, Hoshiarpur 30.8 degrees Celsius and Mohali 31.7 degrees Celsius.
