Weather takes turn in Haryana: Light rain and strong winds expected on June 24–25; signs of good rainfall in July

The weather in Haryana is undergoing continuous changes. According to meteorologists, strong winds and light rain are likely in Haryana, Delhi, and NCR areas on June 24 and 25 due to a new Western Disturbance becoming active on Wednesday. Additionally, there are indications of good, widespread rainfall across the state during the first ten days of July.

Weather expert Dr. Chandramohan stated that conditions favorable for rain are developing in the state due to a series of weak Western Disturbances and a cyclonic circulation combined with a trough line extending over northern Haryana and the Gujarat region.

As a result of these changes, light drizzle was recorded last Tuesday in several districts, including Sirsa, Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Gurugram, Faridabad, Nuh, and Palwal.

Pleasant weather due to a drop in temperature
The weather remains quite pleasant in Hisar and the surrounding districts, characterized by intermittent cloud cover and cool winds throughout the day. A drop in both day and night temperatures has been recorded. The minimum (night) temperature in Hisar was recorded at 24.7 degrees Celsius, which is 2.7 degrees Celsius below normal. Meanwhile, the maximum daytime temperature also remains below normal, providing people with relief from the scorching heat.

According to meteorologists, another Western Disturbance is likely to become active on June 28 following the current spell, which could lead to further changes in the weather during the final days of June. Overall, temperatures are expected to remain under control in the coming days due to pre-monsoon activity.
