Weather update: Rajasthan Faces Early Summer Heat as Temperatures Rise

Jaipur: Summer has arrived prematurely in Rajasthan. Daytime temperatures have reached close to 37 degrees Celsius. Along with the western districts, the eastern, northern, and southern districts are also experiencing warmer days due to the intense sunshine.

In many districts including Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, the maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded above 31 degree Celsius.

Clear weather for next one week

The Meteorological Centre, Jaipur has predicted that the weather will remain clear in the state for the next one week, while the temperature is likely to rise by 2 degrees Celsius and the heat will increase during the next 48 hours.

Looking at the weather over the past 24 hours, all cities across the state experienced bright sunshine and mild heat throughout the day on Thursday. The western districts were more affected by the heat.

Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius. Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Bikaner also saw a rise in maximum temperatures, with all three cities recording between 34 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Heat started increasing in eastern Rajasthan as well

Following western Rajasthan, heat is now rising in eastern Rajasthan districts as well. On Thursday, maximum temperatures in Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Ganganagar, and Kota ranged from 31 to 34 degrees Celsius. All cities, including Sikar and Sirohi, recorded maximum temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius or above.

Pleasant weather in the morning and evening

After a day of intense sunshine and heat, people were relieved by the slight coolness that set in as evening approached. Most cities recorded minimum temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

A mild chill in the morning and evening made the weather pleasant. According to weather experts, the minimum temperature in the state will remain unchanged for the next week, while the maximum temperature may increase by up to 2 degrees Celsius.
