Weather updates: IMD predicts Snowfall, light to moderate rainfall from March 22 to 26, check out the list

New Delhi: According to the Meteorological Department, light rain or snowfall has been predicted in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from March 22 to 24.

Apart from this, heavy rain and snowfall have been predicted in Arunachal Pradesh during March 23.

The IMD has predicted light rain over Punjab on March 22 and 24 and Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh on March 24.

The Meteorological Department also said that on March 22 and 24, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at various places in West Bengal. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is forecast over North East and East Indian states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during March 22 to 26, 2024.

Weather for the next 24 hours

According to Skymet Weather, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand may experience light to moderate rain during the next 24 hours and will taper off thereafter. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala may receive light rain. Light to moderate rain with lightning and hail may occur over Northeast India along with few heavy rains. Light to moderate snowfall is possible over the upper part of the Western Himalayas. Western Himalayan region may get 1 or 2 moderate rains with light rain. Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive hail in short time.
