Yellow alert of heat wave has been issued in 8 districts of Himachal Pradesh today. Heat wave has been going on in the mountains for the last 6 days and it is causing severe heat in the state.
Heat wave conditions have become so bad these days that the day temperature has reached close to 48 degrees Celsius, which is much higher than the previous years.
Not only the plains are suffering from scorching heat, the mountains are also not untouched by it. In Himachal Pradesh, the drinking water crisis is starting to deepen due to the rising heat.
Chandigarh: The scorching heat wave will bother in the coming days. Temperature will rise 46 to 48 degree Celsius in Punjab. In this regard Meteorological Department has issued a red alert. This alert has been issued in 4 districts of Punjab. Punjab Malwa belts Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda and Mansa temperature have been recorded the highest.
