Welcome To The Jungle Sets June 26 Release, Avoids Clash

January 27, 2026

After much anticipation, the makers of Welcome to the Jungle the third instalment in the popular Welcome franchise have officially announced the film’s release date. The multi-star comedy, directed by Ahmed Khan and headlined by Akshay Kumar, will hit cinemas on June 26, 2026, setting the stage for a big summer box office event.

Star-Studded Cast and Comedy Franchise

Welcome To the Jungle brings together an ensemble cast featuring several Bollywood favorites. Alongside Akshay Kumar, actors such as Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, and Paresh Rawal are set to entertain audiences with high-voltage comedy.

This film is part of the beloved Welcome series known for its chaotic humour, eccentric characters and larger-than-life comic situations that have kept audiences laughing over the years.

 Strategic Release on June 26

With the release now scheduled for June 26, 2026, the makers have strategically positioned the film to avoid a clash with other major comedies, particularly Dhamaal 4. Recent reports indicate that Dhamaal 4 originally expected to release earlier has been moved to July 3, 2026, giving Welcome to the Jungle clear space in the summer window.

This timing could help Welcome to the Jungle maximize theatre occupancy during the summer holidays, when families and young audiences flock to cinemas.

 Box Office and Franchise Expectations

The Welcome franchise has a strong legacy in Bollywood, with its previous entries being remembered for comedy gold and ensemble performances. The new film is expected to continue this tradition, blending slapstick humour, memorable one-liners and situational comedy rooted in colourful characters.

Industry analysts see the summer release slot as a smart move, allowing the film to capitalize on school holidays and festive footfalls at theatres. The avoidance of a direct clash with Dhamaal 4 may also help both films perform better commercially by splitting audience attention more evenly.

 What Fans Can Expect

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the Welcome universe, especially with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty reprising their roles amidst a starry supporting ensemble. Early reactions to the release news have been enthusiastic on social media, where fans have expressed excitement over the comedy-packed summer line-up.

Directorially led by Ahmed Khan, the film promises a blend of hilarity, action and larger-than-life set pieces, anchored by its charismatic cast and rooted in the franchise’s established brand of entertainment.
