Western disturbance active in Haryana: Night temp increased slightly, Hisar-Narnaul experienced coldest night

A weak western disturbance triggered a slight increase in minimum temperatures. During this period, Hisar and Narnaul recorded night temperatures of 8.6 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state. According to weather experts, after the disturbance passes, temperatures will drop again, leading to a cold wave.

Meteorologist Dr. Chandramohan stated that a weak western disturbance was activated in the northern mountainous regions on Friday. This disturbance will bring scattered light clouds to the plains, while snowfall will occur in the mountainous regions. The disturbance has also caused a change in wind direction, resulting in a change in temperatures. Night temperatures have increased by up to 3 degrees during this period.

This disturbance will pass on November 23-24, which will once again change the direction of the winds. As the winds shift to the northwest, temperatures will begin to drop in the northern plains, especially Haryana, the National Capital Region (NCR), and Delhi, leading to a second wave of cold.

During this time, icy winds from Siberia will intensify the cold. Current weather forecasts indicate rain in the first week of December. As humidity increases, fog and mist will also be observed.
