Western Disturbance impacts several districts in Haryana; day temperature drops by 3.5 degrees

Due to the western disturbance, scattered rain fell in the southern and central districts of the state on Tuesday, while several districts remained overcast. This change in weather also caused daytime temperatures to drop by up to 3.5 degrees Celsius. According to weather experts, the disturbance will continue to affect Wednesday as well.

Meteorologist Dr. Chandramohan stated that due to the western disturbance, a low-pressure area has formed over eastern and central Rajasthan. Additionally, a very low-pressure area is active over the Arabian Sea, and a cyclonic storm is active over the Bay of Bengal.

However, due to the weakening of the disturbance, their effects are only partial. On Tuesday, sporadic drizzle occurred in the southern and central districts of the state, while the western districts remained cloudy.

The northern districts remained unaffected. However, the wind direction frequently changed throughout the day, sometimes from the north, sometimes from the northwest, and sometimes from the southeast. The constant cloud cover has caused a drop in temperatures. Since this disturbance is causing snowfall in the mountains, a further drop in day and night temperatures will be recorded in the coming days.
