Woman allegedly crushed by Thar SUV in Gurugram; body left at the scene after being taken to hospital

Gurugram: A shocking incident has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana. A woman driving a Thar SUV in a residential society in Sector 67 allegedly crushed a domestic help while reversing. It is alleged that the woman took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. She then brought the body back to the society and allegedly left it at the same spot where the accident occurred.

Accident occurred while reversing

According to police, the deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Guddi, a resident of Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. She was resting in the ground floor parking lot after working in a flat in the society. Meanwhile, a woman living in the same building was reversing her Thar when the vehicle allegedly ran over her.

Taken to hospital, then accused of bringing back the body

Following the accident, the female driver took the injured Guddi to a private hospital. Doctors there declared her dead after examination. Police say the woman then brought the body back to the society and left it in the parking lot. The deceased’s nephew alleged that the body was brought back and left there without informing the family or the police.

Protests in the society, police investigating

As soon as the incident became known, a large number of people gathered outside the accused woman’s house and protested. Upon receiving information, Sector-65 police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem. Police are questioning the driver and examining CCTV footage from the scene. Officials say further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
