Recent Railway Track Incidents and Safety Concerns

In recent months, railway accidents involving pedestrians have been reported across several regions, often linked to track crossing, lack of foot overbridges, and negligence near unmanned crossings. Authorities have repeatedly advised the public to avoid crossing railway tracks and to use designated crossings or foot overbridges for safety.

Commonly cited reasons behind such incidents include:

• Unauthorized crossing of railway tracks
• Reduced visibility or lack of awareness of approaching trains
• Absence of fencing near busy railway sections
• Human negligence or misjudgment of train speed

Railway officials continue to stress awareness campaigns and safety measures to reduce such preventable accidents.
