Yogi Hails Modi’s AI Vision, Uttar Pradesh Drives Implementation

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s human-centric AI vision, calling it historic and transformative after the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi. He highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts to implement the vision and position Uttar Pradesh at the forefront of India’s AI ecosystem.

 Focus on ‘MANAV’ Framework and AI Projects

At the summit, PM Modi presented the ‘M.A.N.A.V.’ framework AI governance centered on ethical, inclusive and democratic principles. Yogi welcomed this approach, saying UP is moving to implement the vision on the ground with focus on trust, inclusion and real-world impact.

To support this strategy, the state is developing India’s first AI City in Lucknow as a hub for innovation and research and has launched the country’s first AI-enabled multidisciplinary university in Unnao to train future-ready professionals in advanced technologies.

 Youth Training, Agriculture, and Governance

CM Yogi highlighted the ‘AI Pragya’ initiative, which is equipping over one million youth with cutting-edge AI and digital skills to enhance global competitiveness. He also pointed out that AI-based solutions are helping improve agricultural productivity for more than one million farmer families across the state.

In addition, AI is being used to strengthen transparency and efficiency in governance areas like revenue management, internal security and smart governance, making administration more accountable and citizen centric.

 Uttar Pradesh’s Strategic Role in AI Growth

Yogi wrote on social media platform X that under PM Modi’s guidance, Uttar Pradesh will play a strong and strategic role in building India’s secure, sovereign and scalable AI future. The state’s aim goes beyond technological adoption it seeks to build an AI ecosystem that empowers every section of society.
