India is called a young country. Half young people in every country around the world are awakening and agitating to address the challenges they face. In the 21st century, this generation is called Gen-G. As this awakening grew, Gen-Alpha also joined them.

This youth power was born in the 21st century. Gen-G was born between 1997 and 2012, and Gen-Alpha was born between 2010 and 2024. Those born before 1990 are considered to have endured all kinds of suffering and internalized the status quo. However, Gen-G and Gen-Alpha are not those who endure, do, and continue. In principle, this young generation has no interest in politics. The purpose of their activism is to improve their lives. In the era of digital education, Gen-G says give us new education, conduct our examinations smoothly and make education so employment oriented that we do not have to wait long to find a job after studies.

We saw Gen-G’s awakening at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, in Jharkhand, Bihar and Rajasthan. The youth movement in Ranchi seemed to be an ideal movement because there was neither any political sloganeering nor was anyone’s resignation demanded. Politicians have started seeing such youth power of voters in Gen-G that to woo them, the movement of youth power is also being politicized.
