Youth Dies of Gunshot Wound in Rohtak’s Dobh Village; Succumbs at Private Hospital

On Thursday, a young man named Anand, alias Anna (32), died under suspicious circumstances after sustaining a gunshot wound in Dobh village, located on the Rohtak-Bhiwani road. The police are currently investigating to determine whether Anand committed suicide or if he was shot by someone else.

According to the police, they received information that Anand alias Anna was found in an injured state near the residence of a local youth named Rahul. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital situated near the Old Bus Stand, where he passed away during treatment.

Mahendra Kaushik, the SHO of the Bahu Akbarpur police station, stated that eyewitnesses reported seeing no gun or pistol in the vicinity of the injured man. Consequently, the possibility of murder cannot be ruled out. The full details of the incident are expected to come to light only after the statements of the family members have been recorded.
