As per police, associates have been identified as Yuvraj alias jaggu and Mehakpreet alias Mehak. Two associates were arrested after an exchange of fire near Jawanda village Tarn Taran. The police had signaled them to stop at the checkpoint, during which both of them opened fire on the police. In the retaliatory action taken by the police, both gangsters were injured due to bullet injuries in the leg.
The accused opened fire on police and both sustained injuries in retaliatory action and were admitted in Civil Hospital, Taran. As per police, recovery include One Glock 9MM & One PX30 .30 calibre pistols with live cartridges. DGP Yadav said that arrested accused were being directed by foreign handlers to carry out targeted killings in Punjab. Sensational crimes thwarted in Punjab with the arrest of associates of terrorists.
