Noida: A significant fire broke out at a residential flat in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the safe rescue of a 15-year-old girl who was trapped inside, officials reported.
The incident occurred in the Bisrakh police station area when an explosion in the air conditioner of a house inside the society caused the fire to spread quickly. Fortunately, the family had stepped out at the time, leaving the girl alone in the flat.
Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey stated that on receiving the news about the fire, emergency services promptly reached the scene. Fire brigade teams worked swiftly to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to neighboring apartments. Their quick response played a crucial role in minimizing damage and ensuring safety.
The rescue operation was successful, with firefighters and nearby residents working together to extract the trapped girl from the burning flat. She was immediately provided medical evaluation and care, although officials confirmed she did not sustain any serious injuries.
