Hoshiarpur: A goldsmith in Dasuha, Hoshiarpur, absconded with gold worth lakhs of rupees belonging to jewellery traders. Jewellers have filed a complaint with the police and demanded action. It is being told that the artisan has absconded with about 2 kg of gold.
Swarnakar Sangh President Sushil Padiyal said that Amit Kumar, a resident of UP, was living in Dasuha, and he also had an Aadhar card of Dasuha. He said that artisan Amit Kumar absconded with about two kg of gold given by goldsmiths to make jewellery.
He has demanded from the SSP that action be taken against the accused, and they will be caught soon. All the shopkeepers at jewellery market who had allowed Amit to make jewellery and polish gold jewellery are looking very upset. All SSPs have been asked to arrest the accused and get their gold back.
