Shimla: The rain havoc in Himachal Pradesh continues, with over 213 roads closed in the state in the last 24 hours. The National Highway 707, which connects Shillai in Sirmaur district, has been closed since last night at a location called Uttari.

Despite efforts, the road remains closed in Uttari, forcing people in the area to travel at great risk. In another incident, two people were seriously injured when a stone fell on a car at 4 mile on the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway. Both individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Civil Hospital in Mandi. The closure of roads in various areas is causing inconvenience for the locals.

However, there is some relief as the road connecting the tribal district of Kinnaur has been restored today after being closed for a week in Nigulsari. Nevertheless, excessive mud in the area is causing vehicles to get stuck.
