Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Sunday that his recent four-day trip to Japan was focused on forging partnerships in anticipation of the state’s Global Investors Summit, scheduled for February 24-25. During his visit, numerous Japanese companies expressed a strong interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.
CM Yadav mentioned, “To strengthen ties between Japan and Madhya Pradesh, and to foster the state’s development alongside the nation under PM Modi’s leadership, we are organizing a global summit on February 24-25. I visited Japan to engage with various sectors, and many companies showed interest in investing in our state.”
He highlighted the long-standing relationship between India and Japan, which has been strong since ancient times. Upon returning to India on Saturday, Yadav described his trip as “extremely pleasant and successful” on social media platform X.
He added that the visit would pave the way for new investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and enhance bilateral relations, especially with Japan’s participation as a partner country in the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal.
While in Japan, CM Yadav participated in a session in Osaka on Thursday, inviting industrialists to join the summit, where he received positive feedback and investment proposals from Japanese investors.
Reflecting on his experience, Yadav expressed his gratitude for the warmth and kindness shown by the staff at the Imperial Hotel in Osaka as he departed. He shared a video on X, showing the hotel staff applauding him, and expressed, “An amazing, unforgettable, and soulful moment. I am overwhelmed by their affection, which illustrates the prosperous ties between India and Japan.”
