Mumbai: BLACKPINK singer Jennie Kim has been accused of copying the Rani theme song from the Bollywood film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Fans have pointed out similarities between Jennie’s upcoming track Like Jennie and the introductory music composed by Pritam for Alia Bhatt’s character in the 2023 film.
The accusations sparked an online debate, with listeners comparing both songs on social media. While some believe the tracks sound alike, others argue the resemblance is minimal and coincidental.

Pritam has not yet responded to the controversy.
Jennie’s solo album is set to release on 7 March. The singer, who launched her independent label OA in 2023, announced a collaboration with Columbia Records in September 2024. Her first single from the album achieved significant success on the Billboard charts.
