Under the leadership of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the Punjab Congress is launching a transformative campaign titled ‘Judega Block, Jeetegi Congress’, which aims to revive the Congress party from the grassroots level. The campaign will start from Dera Bassi tomorrow and will also visit Sanaur, covering every block across Punjab. This ambitious program is a significant step towards strengthening the party’s organisational structure ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
During the campaign, the Pradesh Congress Chief will personally visit each block to meet party workers, office bearers and volunteers. Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Warring said, “The strength of any political party lies in its grassroots network. Through this campaign, we aim to empower our workers, understand their challenges and create a roadmap for the future. This is not just a programme – it is a mission to ensure that Congress represents every household in Punjab.”
The campaign structure involves covering all the blocks of two constituencies in a day. Block members, presidents and mandal presidents will be given specific responsibilities, ensuring an organised approach to strengthening the party’s base. The base laid before the Lok Sabha elections – where Congress won 7 seats in Punjab – will act as a strong foundation. “Our victory in the Lok Sabha elections proved that people trust us to voice their concerns. Now, we are determined to build on that trust by strengthening our connection with every block and household in Punjab,” Warring said.
The initiative also focuses on building a robust system that looks at the work done so far, provides constructive feedback and addresses grassroots issues. Feedback will be collected from workers and local leaders to formulate future strategies as per the needs of each block. “Punjab Congress is not just preparing for an election; we are preparing to be the voice of every Punjabi,” the PPCC chief asserted. “By understanding the struggles faced by the people on the ground, we will create a roadmap that resonates with the aspirations of the people.”
With the Congress party gearing up for 2027, this campaign signals the beginning of a concerted effort to reach every corner of Punjab and become a true representative of its people. Warring explained, “We are not just visiting blocks, we are building a family that shares the vision of a progressive Punjab. Together, we will strengthen our party and ensure that Congress emerges victorious in 2027.”
