New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasized that Holi is not just a festival of colors but a messenger of unity, inspiring people to walk the path of harmony with love and goodwill. In his message shared on the social media platform X on Friday, CM Yogi wished everyone a joyous, enthusiastic, and prosperous celebration of Holi.
“The festival of Holi is the messenger of unity, which inspires us to walk on the path of harmony with love and cordiality,” the Chief Minister wrote. He also prayed to Lord Shri Ram, asking that the festival bring joy, prosperity, and renewed enthusiasm into the lives of everyone.
Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati also extended her greetings on the occasion, wishing all Indians a happy and peaceful Holi. In her tweet on X, she urged people to celebrate the festival with full enthusiasm while promoting mutual brotherhood and harmony.
Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu also shared her wishes for Holi, underscoring the cultural significance of the festival. She wrote, “Heartfelt greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours. This festival of joy gives the message of unity, love, and harmony. It is also a symbol of India’s precious cultural heritage.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also sent his warm wishes via social media, stating, “Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on the festival of joy, enthusiasm, and colours, ‘Holi’. May this festival bring increased prosperity, progress, and affluence in the lives of all.”
As the nation celebrates Holi on Friday, the focus remains on the festival’s cultural importance, promoting unity, togetherness, and joy among all communities.
