The grenade attack on the house of social media influencer and YouTuber Navdeep Singh Sandhu alias Roger Sandhu in Jalandhar between 4 and 4.15 am on Sunday is related to digital coercion. This has come to light in the investigation of the Jalandhar Rural Police so far. Let us tell you that this is the first time that someone from Pakistan has carried out an attack in Punjab because Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti took responsibility for the attack. Bhatti also gave the reason for this that Roger Sandhu had made wrong comments about Islam, due to which he carried out this attack.
The mastermind terrorists of the Baba Siddiqui murder case, Happy Pasian and Zeeshan Akhtar, have carried out this attack. SSP of Jalandhar Rural Police Gurmeet Singh said – Bhatti and Sandhu were friends. Sandhu is a very famous influencer. Sandhu had once given a gift to Bhatti but when Sandhu refused to do so again, the fight between the two escalated.
After which Sandhu also made some religious comments. This matter is related to digital coercion. That is why this incident was carried out. The occurrence of this incident has been confirmed. After arresting everyone, it will be clear with whom the accused who committed the above crime were associated.
According to the information received, when the Punjab Police came to know about the above incident, they immediately started looking for sources to take responsibility. In which it was revealed that Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti has taken the said responsibility through his social media account.
After which the police wrote an application to the company to ban the said account in India. On the application of the Punjab Police, Bhatti’s account was banned in India at night. Now none of Bhatti’s social media accounts can run in India.
The house of YouTuber Roger Sandhu, a resident of Raipur Rasulpur area of Jalandhar, was attacked. The YouTuber was inside his house when the grenade was thrown. However, no one was injured in the attack as it did not explode for some reason. Roger Sandhu was sleeping inside the house when the incident took place.
