Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will launch a large-scale door-to-door outreach programme across Punjab from September 20, senior party leader Manish Sisodia said.
Sisodia said that all party workers and senior leaders would visit households as part of the campaign and interact directly with people.
‘No Stone Unturned to Protect Punjab’s Youth’
Addressing the issue of drug abuse in Punjab, Sisodia said the state government had left no stone unturned to protect the younger generation.
He claimed that the youth, traders and women in the state were satisfied with the functioning of the government.
Sisodia Targets Previous Governments Over Drugs
Sisodia alleged that previous governments were responsible for allowing the drug problem to spread in Punjab.
He said the AAP government was taking steps to address the issue and safeguard the future of the state’s youth.
Highlighting the government’s education initiatives, Sisodia said government schools in Punjab were now providing modern facilities.
He further claimed that the quality of education in government schools had improved and that parents were satisfied with the changes.
