Ludhiana: AAP Leader BK Bonny Seen Firing in Viral Video Over Parking Dispute

Ludhiana: A fresh video has surfaced from Ludhiana showing Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader BK Bonny allegedly opening fire during a parking dispute, intensifying controversy over the incident and prompting renewed questions on police action.

The video, shared by local residents and later submitted to the police, reportedly shows Bonny firing shots during a confrontation linked to a dispute over parking a 12-tyre truck. Locals claim that despite strong video evidence, police have not taken strict action, alleging pressure on the investigation.

    Dispute Began Over Parking

According to complainant Lakhbir Singh, the dispute started after an argument with Bonny’s wife in the morning regarding truck parking, after which the vehicle was moved. However, tensions escalated again at night when Bonny’s father, Ravi, allegedly engaged in verbal abuse and stone pelting.

Lakhbir Singh further alleged that BK Bonny later fired multiple rounds during the altercation, and one bullet reportedly grazed a child present at the spot. No serious injuries were reported.

    New Video Sparks Fresh Questions

While earlier CCTV footage did not clearly identify the shooter, locals claim the newly surfaced video clearly shows BK Bonny firing a weapon during the incident.

The video has triggered widespread concern among residents, who allege repeated harassment and intimidation by Bonny and demand strict police action.

    Police Under Scrutiny

The emergence of the video has raised questions over the initial police response. Earlier, officials from Model Town police station had stated that the firing incident had not been officially confirmed.

Residents now allege delay in action despite what they call clear evidence.

    Leader’s Earlier Denial Questioned

Following the incident, BK Bonny, district coordinator of the Nasha Mukti Morcha, had denied any firing, claiming he possessed a licensed weapon but did not use it. He also alleged that the opposing side was involved in drug-related activities and had falsely implicated him.

However, with the latest video surfacing, his claims are now under renewed scrutiny as the investigation continues.
