AAP Gets Boost In Malerkotla As Dr Gulzar Mohammad, Three Independent MCs Join Party

Malerkotla: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a boost in Malerkotla as Dr Gulzar Mohammad and three independent municipal councillors joined the party on Saturday.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed the new members into the AAP fold and said the party continues to grow because of its people-friendly policies.

Several local leaders and representatives were present on the occasion, including Iqbal Fauji, former President of the Municipal Council; Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Habib, Suraiya Begum, Muhammad Mumtaz (Taz), Zahida Parveen and Muhammad Aslam (Kala).

Chairman of the Punjab Waqf Board Muhammad Owais, Azam Rana, District Chairman of Trade Wing Commission Punjab, and Shahbaz Rana, Member of the Punjab Waqf Board, were also present.

The joining of Dr Gulzar Mohammad and the three independent municipal councillors is being seen as a significant development for the AAP’s organisational presence in Malerkotla.
